Will any one guide me how to listen Radio Ceylon hindi programme live in Internet. Now a days it is very difficult to get AM/SW radio transistor set.
please provide me link

I am a radio technician myself and I am a resident of Kumta on the coast of Karnataka, and am receiving strong signals here. If eraks in Himachal is able to receive the broadcasts I think that anybody in India should be able to do so. As for the availability of MW SW receivers, Philips is still making sets ( Jawan DL224 and Prince DL 225 with FM band) and if you are living in any big city you should be able to buy one. I advise you to go for the MW SW Jawan as it doesn’t have the telescopic antenna!!

Thanks, please give hindi program schedule

Philips has brought out a 4-Band MW SW FM TV Channel model and it should be easily available!! The quality of sound is much better than in the other models I mentioned earlier!! The price is around a thousand bucks!!

I live in karachi, pakistan and presently looking forward to get the internet link to listen to radio ceylon hindi service. Pl. Let me know the pakistani timings. Thanx. My email is: tauheedpmtf@hotmail.com.

Great news. I hope they go back to their old schedule with three transmissions and keep the old format as well as all the popular programmes. So nostalgic!
The recording in this post is very clear. Would you please let us know the source (shortwave?,medium wave, internet stream) and your location (how far are you situated from the transmitter).
Thanks for sharing.

Internet Stream is available if you are far away from the range of transmission, at http://www.slbc.lk. However I am located in Himachal Pradesh, India where the strength of signal is very good. I enjoy the internet as well as the Radio Signal (on my Philips Bahadur DL 167 set) both. You must have a radio set with good RF Amplifier like the one available with me. The frequencies are 11905 kHz and 7190 kHz on 25 m and 41 m band respectively. My recordings are also available at http://www.youtube.com/eraksoldies.
Thanks and happy listening to Radio Ceylon
